Liturgical Dancers in 6th grade through adult add depth to our liturgy and God’s holy Word through movement and song, bringing the Gospel alive in the hearts of the faithful.
What to Expect
💃 Dance
The Liturgical Dance Team presents choreographed dances to the Gospel quarterly.
Each piece is designed to enhance worship and proclaim the Good News through movement.
🎼 Rehearse
Practices are held as needed in preparation for upcoming services.
Rehearsals are led by our dance instructor and focus on:
Learning choreography
Coordinating movement with music and readers
Preparing prayerfully for worship
🙏 Gather & Serve
Dancers gather before worship to warm up and review the dance with music and readers before leading the congregation in worship.
🌿 The Blessing
Liturgical Dance can bring healing, express joy, and proclaim His Good News.
Dance fosters unity and invites worshippers to experience the Word in a powerful and embodied way.
